Turquoise

There is something infinitely lyrical and tragic about how the gentle waves never stop kissing the still and silent shore. Something in the mystery of the turquoise lagoon that leads forth, offering only glimpses of the mysteries that lie beneath.

Trying to break through endlessly, decidedly, somehow unwavering.

 I see, beyond the spectrum.

 I see beyond the water.

I see myself, I see the world and I see you.

But the crowning glory lies in the divine peace one witnesses across the indigo of the oceans that stretch out forever.

The sea, she mourns with me. Insignificant in the grand scale of things as I may be, yet the world does not dismiss my love.

Standing on a sand bank so fragile and so delicate, to be washed away with the slightest storm, staring out at the shades of blue before me, the color comes to life before my eyes. There is a wordless frustration in the waves that crash desperately against the coral and rock,

I understand finally, that I am not alone in this love.
